I’m in love with Mario Kart Wii. There, I said it. This game has gotten the best of me, and I’ve been addicted to it for well over a year now. It’s crazy to admit the truth, but I don’t see myself letting up on this game any time soon either.

This is one of the easiest games to learn, but there’s a challenging level of depth that pulls you in once you get to learn how to play. Its universal appeal is part of what makes the game so great.

As far as the reasons for praising this game so much go, if you’ve ever played any Mario Kart game, you know how addicting and fun it can be. This game will remind you very much of any other Mario Kart game you’ve played, but the kicker is the technology.

Basically, you’re given a wheel to plug your remote into, which allows you to wirelessly steer your driver during every race. This is an extremely accurate wheel, and it genuinely turns exactly as you do as you’re turning the wheel.

The boards are fast paced and the tracks are extremely competitive and fun. Perhaps my favorite thing about the game is the online play mode. I find myself playing online more often than any other way, as the game can be a bit less challenging once you beat it.

In online mode, you’re able to join races of anywhere from 2 to 11 cars. The best part about it is that it’s all live, and your opponents are other owners of the game. It’s a really enjoyable challenge, and I’m seriously addicted to it. There’s also a point structure that rewards you when you win.

As far as the ranks are concerned, you’ll gain ranking points when you do well in a race, and you’ll lose them when you slack. The best part about it is the fact that it measures strength of competition, making it accurate and fair.

I’ve talked enough about the game. You can see that I absolutely love it, and there’s no doubt in my mind that you will too.
